In these last months my photographic work is going to dry step by step, in the bare production, the selection of the states of potential photo opportunity, the subjects founded into the less spectacular ones. On this road I think I owe to films by Yasujiro Ozu, a Japanese director with a particularly essential style who placed his camera as close to the ground as possible. At the same time I am influenced by Georges Simenon's novels, devoid of any frills and unimportant details, by JosŤ Saramago's irony, by the reality-dream of Murakami Haruki fantasy, and by the Hermann Broch's compactness; and, the greatest, the Proust Recherce. I like the idea of having such pleasant company ad of being able to turn my thoughts and thanks to them. Besides, their influence seems to somehow enhance my ability to see things.
